Vehicle database

A car list that shows confidence, not just hype

The early vehicle database is intentionally practical. It highlights what a player can use now, what is a community signal, and what still needs in-game checking before it becomes a fact.

2013 Audi R8 Coupe V10 plus

A / Starter / AWD

Confirmed

A stable first Autoshow purchase: it survives mixed road surfaces and gives a safe baseline before you start tuning for a specific event type.

Unlock: Autoshow

Sits around 694 PI stock. Quattro AWD keeps launches predictable on both controller and wheel while you learn throttle control.

2020 Nissan GT-R NISMO

S1 / Road / AWD

Confirmed

600 hp with AWD traction makes it the value pick for early S1 road races and Touge events without chasing a top-speed build first.

Unlock: Autoshow

Roughly 736 PI stock, about 270,000 Cr in the Autoshow, or free by finishing the Touge and Street Rivals branch of the Collection Journal.

2021 McLaren 765LT Coupe

S2 / Road / RWD

Community signal

One of the highest stock top-speed candidates in the S2 shortlist; useful for speed-zone and top-speed leaderboard attempts once the launch is tuned.

Unlock: Autoshow

829 PI stock. RWD, so keep stability control on until the tune and drivetrain aids are dialed in for speed-trap runs.

Subaru BRZ Forza Edition

A / Dirt / RWD

Community signal

Community testing calls it the strongest technical A-class pick and the best free dirt/off-road option in the early meta once it is tuned off-road.

Unlock: Accolade

Awarded through Collection Journal progression rather than sold in the Autoshow; check your Journal rewards tab before buying an A-class alternative.

2020 Land Rover Defender 90

Off-road / Cross-country / AWD

Community signal

Built for wide-open Cross-Country terrain where a road-focused car gets punished by bad landings and water crossings.

Unlock: Autoshow

Taller ride height trades cornering speed for stability across jumps and uneven landings; lower tire pressure once you confirm the suspension range in-game.

Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno

Drift / Drift / RWD

Confirmed

The community-favorite learner drift car: low power makes angle control easier before chasing a high-horsepower drift meta.

Unlock: Autoshow

A low-power RWD chassis. Fit Drift Tires, Drift Suspension and a locked Drift Differential before touching slider values, then start around 30-35 PSI front / 28-32 PSI rear.

1998 Nissan #23 Pennzoil NISMO Skyline GT-R (barn find)

Collection / Collection / AWD

Community signal

A liveried ATTESA E-TS AWD Skyline is a meaningfully different collector unlock than a generic S1 road car, and it anchors the barn-find tracker in a real, named vehicle instead of a placeholder slot.

Unlock: Barn find

One of the 15 barn finds hidden across Japan. Barns unlock in waves as your Discover Japan Explorer Stamp climbs Yellow to Gold; the exact reveal tier for this specific barn needs a fresh in-game recheck this week.

1991 Nissan Figaro (treasure car)

Collection / Collection / FWD

Community signal

Collecting it counts toward the 'Treasure Hunter' achievement, which needs all 9 treasure cars found; see /treasure-cars/ for the other 8 by name.

Unlock: Treasure clue

No riddle to solve: all 9 treasure cars are visible on the map as a purple icon once you drive close. This one sits in a parking lot in southern Tokyo City.

2017 Saleen S7 LM

S1 / Collection / RWD

Community signal

Community-reported specs put it around 1,300 bhp with a sub-2-second claimed 0-60 - unverified against an in-game stat card, but it's confirmed as the highest-point seasonal reward car live on the Playlist right now.

Unlock: Seasonal

Series 2: Horizon Decades Spring reward car at 40 Festival Playlist points (this is the officially confirmed part); the Spring window closes July 16, 2026.

How to read the list

Confirmed means the source is official or directly reproduced. Community signal means useful early chatter, but not enough proof. Needs in-game check means the slot exists because players are searching for it, not because the unlock is proven.

What gets updated first

Starter picks, S1 road cars, A dirt builds, cross-country stability and hidden-car unlock methods have the highest priority because they solve immediate player blockers.

What we avoid

We avoid publishing a fake complete car list during the first data window. A short verified list is more useful than a long scraped list that sends players toward bad unlock paths.
