All 9 treasure cars are collectible from the moment you start Forza Horizon 6. There is no Explorer Stamp requirement like barn finds, and no clue to interpret like the weekly Treasure Hunt event. If you have been holding off waiting for a "route to unlock," there is nothing blocking you - drive toward a region and look for the purple icon.

The 1991 Nissan Figaro is a limited-production retro city car with a distinctive round-body design, so it stands out visually even from a distance in a parking lot - a useful landmark when you are scanning southern Tokyo City from the road. The 2005 Ford GT is a modern reboot of the 1960s GT40 racing heritage, and finding one parked off-road at a cliffside viewpoint in the southwest is a deliberate contrast: a road-focused supercar sitting somewhere a road-focused supercar should not comfortably be. The 1985 Mazda RX-7 is an early rotary-engined generation of the model, tucked at a farm marked by a distinctive red tower in the northwest - the tower itself is the easiest way to confirm you are at the right farm rather than a similar-looking one nearby.
These six are confirmed as real treasure cars in the launch build, but we do not yet have a reliable location description for each one. We are listing the names instead of guessing at a route.
These six span a wide era range on purpose: the Porsche 959 and Lancia Stratos represent 1970s-80s rally and homologation heritage, the BMW M1 is an early-80s mid-engine icon, and the Dodge Charger, Nissan Safari and Mitsubishi Evo cover American muscle and Japanese rally-bred performance respectively. We will update this section with confirmed locations as soon as we can verify each one against a second independent source rather than repeating a single unverified route.
