PS5 tracker

PS5 timing should stay conservative until a date exists

The official window remains later in 2026. The live PlayStation Store page still lists the release date as to be determined, so this tracker separates what you can act on from what has not been published.

Official

PS5 is announced for later 2026

The Forza announcement supplies the release window. It does not supply a day, price or preload schedule.

Store status — checked July 13

Wishlist page is live; date is still TBD

The United States PlayStation Store lists the game as announced and lets you add it to your Wishlist. It does not currently show a release date, price, edition comparison or preload timing.

Online play

PS Plus is required for console multiplayer

The store listing says online console multiplayer requires a PlayStation Plus subscription, sold separately. This does not confirm a release date or edition benefits.

What the PS5 page should answer next

You can wishlist the PS5 version now. Forza Support also confirms that campaign progress can cross-save between Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Steam and PS5. The PS5 version itself will still need to be bought separately.

The next useful official updates are a dated store listing, price, edition comparison and preload timing. Until then, a clip, thumbnail or unsourced social post is not enough to turn into a release date.
