Credits farming methods, tested and compared

No official payout table exists, so this page compares the credit farming methods players actually report results for - car, setup and approximate return - instead of one unverified number.

Verdict

AFK Colossus is the best rate for idle time; Skill Points win during active play

If you can leave the game running, set up Colossus with Rivals and Auto Drive - one tested run returned close to a million credits per hour. If you are actively playing anyway, chain Skill Points into Super Wheelspins instead; it does not need a dedicated farming session and stacks with whatever event you are already racing.

Method comparison

No official fastest-credits payout table is published - the numbers below are the most-consistent community-reported results, not guaranteed rates. Your actual return will vary with your car, upgrades and Difficulty Bonus settings.

Method Setup Reported result Effort
Colossus + Rivals + Auto Drive (AFK) Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Forza Edition (or Wuling Sunshine S Forza Edition as the next-best option), Unbeatable AI, all assists off, Auto Drive engaged against a Rivals ghost you cannot beat One community-tested run: ~962,000 Cr over 10 laps in about 57 minutes (approx. 1,012,600 Cr/hour) Hands-off after setup
Colossus, manual single race Any competitive car, Unbeatable AI for the +50% Difficulty Bonus Roughly 120,000-142,000 Cr and 20,000 XP per 4-6 minute race Active, per-race
Colossus, extended to 50 laps Same Colossus setup, lap count raised to 50 in the event settings Over 3,000,000 Cr and over 1,000,000 XP reported for the full 50-lap run Long single session or AFK overnight
Event Lab Auto Drive loop A custom Event Lab race with Auto Drive enabled, run on repeat Roughly 2,300 Cr and about 1,000 XP per lap while fully idle Fully AFK, lower rate
Skill Point farming into Super Wheelspins A high-multiplier car, chained drifts/jumps/off-road skills, Car Mastery tree spend Repeatable Credit and Wheelspin bonuses without a dedicated race loop Active, blends into normal play

Setup steps

Four steps to pick and run a method

  1. 1 Pick your method based on how much attention you can give it: AFK Colossus + Rivals for idle time, manual Colossus races if you are actively playing, Skill Point farming if you want credits to accumulate during normal driving.
  2. 2 For the AFK method, set Auto Drive, pick the fastest available Rival so the race never actually finishes, and set Unbeatable AI with every assist off for the +50% Difficulty Bonus.
  3. 3 Check your car's PI against the Colossus event requirement before queuing - a mismatched class either blocks entry or wastes the Difficulty Bonus multiplier.
  4. 4 Stack methods instead of picking one: let an AFK session run during downtime, farm Skill Points during normal sessions, and clear Festival Journal milestones and duplicate-car auctions as extra income on the side.

Why the numbers vary between guides

Credits per race scale with your car's PI, the event's base payout and whether the +50% Difficulty Bonus is active. Two players running "the same" Colossus AFK method on different cars will see different hourly totals - use the figures here as a planning range, not a fixed promise.

What this guide will not cover

Save-editing, account trading and unverified "instant credits" glitches are excluded on purpose. See the credits and economy guide for the four-check test before trusting a viral money video.

A passive layer worth stacking on top

Beyond the five methods above, duplicate cars from Wheelspins and Barn Finds are worth listing on the Auction House rather than leaving in storage - it will not out-earn an active Colossus session, but it is close to free credits for cars you were not going to drive anyway. The daily house Wheelspin and Festival Journal milestones also pay out automatically as you play, so check both before starting a dedicated farming session; you may already be a few clicks from a reward you would otherwise grind toward.

If you are deciding between the AFK Colossus method and manual racing for a single evening session, the manual route is usually the better use of limited time - it pays a comparable or higher rate per minute of actual attention, while the AFK method's advantage is freeing up time you were not going to spend playing anyway.

Credits farming FAQ

What is the fastest way to farm credits in Forza Horizon 6?

The Colossus event combined with Rivals and Auto Drive is the most-reported AFK method: one community-tested run earned about 962,000 credits over 10 laps in roughly 57 minutes. No official fastest-credits table is published by Playground Games, so treat any specific number as a community-tested estimate, not a guaranteed payout.

Do I need a specific car for the Colossus AFK farm?

The most-cited setup uses the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Forza Edition, with the Wuling Sunshine S Forza Edition reported as the next-best option if you do not own the Tacoma. Both need to clear the Colossus event's PI requirement.

Is credit farming safe, or does it risk a ban?

Using in-game systems like Colossus, Rivals, Auto Drive and Event Lab as intended is normal play. Third-party save editing, account trading or exploiting a bug outside these systems carries risk and is not covered by this guide - see the credits guide's four-check test before trusting a viral money video.

Spend it well

Once credits are flowing, put them toward an S1 road car, an off-road build, or extra Wheelspins for a shot at an exclusive car. Track weekly reward-car windows on the Festival Playlist page.
