Where Tokyo Tower is, and how to clear the photo challenge

Forza Horizon 6's map opens in Japan, and Tokyo City is where most landmark and photo-challenge searches land. This page gives executable directions to Tokyo Tower and keeps confirmed areas separate from spots still being verified.

Confirmed

Tokyo Tower is on the west side of Tokyo City

Head to the western edge of the Tokyo City region. Tokyo Tower is the tall red-and-white lattice tower on the skyline - one of the most-searched locations in Series 1 because it anchors the rotating photo challenge, and it is hard to miss once you are on the west side. It is also one of the best night-drive Photo Mode backdrops in the game.

The photo challenge rotates with the weekly playlist. See the current week on the Festival Playlist tracker.

The red-and-white lattice tower is easiest to frame at dusk or night, lit against the western skyline.

Clear the photo challenge in four steps

  1. 1 Open the map and fast-travel to the nearest Tokyo City festival site or owned roadside house on the west side of the city.
  2. 2 Head toward the skyline - the red-and-white lattice tower is the tallest landmark on the western edge and is visible from most main roads there.
  3. 3 Drive within clear line of sight of the tower, then open Photo Mode (D-pad up on controller, or your bound key on PC).
  4. 4 Frame the tower inside the shot - it does not have to fill the frame, it just needs to be clearly in view - then take the photo to clear the challenge.

Tokyo areas worth tracking

A region is marked Confirmed once it is shown clearly from more than one source. Everything else stays in review so a guessed coordinate never becomes a fake instruction.
