Every achievement grouped so 100% is a plan, not a guess
Forza Horizon 6 ships with 57 achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore. This page groups the completion-relevant ones by collection, exploration and Festival progress so you can chase several at once.
Verdict
Chase Collection Journal, treasure cars and map discovery first
Of the 57 total achievements, the twelve grouped below are the ones directly tied to collection, exploration and Festival progress rather than one-off story beats. Three of them - Master Explorer, Horizon Legend and Played-List - are worth 50 points each and track passively as you play, so prioritize normal exploration over grinding a single achievement in isolation.

Order of operations
Four steps to plan a 100% run
1Start with Collection Journal progress - Master Explorer and Horizon Legend both track off Journal and wristband tiers, so normal exploration chips away at two achievements at once.
2Chase the 9 treasure cars early. They need no clue-solving (see the treasure car guide), so 'A Fine Addition To My Collection' and 'Treasure Hunter' are two of the fastest achievements to lock in.
3Use the map tracker to confirm all 10 regions and 10+ landmarks are discovered before assuming 'The Horizon Cartographer' or 'Pin It!' should have popped.
4Save 'Played-List' for a season you can dedicate real time to - it needs every Festival Playlist point for that season, not a lifetime total.
100 cars is more achievable than it sounds
With over 550 vehicles in the launch roster, Collector (100 cars) is mostly a byproduct of normal Wheelspin, Autoshow and Barn Find activity rather than a dedicated grind - track your count against the vehicle database if you want to speed it up deliberately.
Not covered here
Story-specific and single-race achievements outside the collection/exploration/Festival groups above are not listed on this page. This tracker focuses on the achievements a completionist plan actually needs to sequence.
Why only twelve of the 57
The other 45 achievements in the official list are mostly tied to individual story chapters, single race types or one-off mechanical challenges (a specific stunt, a specific event win) rather than open-ended collection or exploration goals. Those are easier to trip over during normal play and do not need a dedicated tracker the way a 9-car treasure hunt or a 15-barn search does. If a story or race achievement is not popping when you expect it, the most common cause is completing the underlying objective on a difficulty or game mode variant that does not count toward that specific achievement's requirement - check the exact wording on the in-game achievement list before assuming it is bugged.
The 1,000 total Gamerscore is split unevenly: several of the twelve tracked here (Master Explorer, Horizon Legend, The Horizon Cartographer) are worth 50 points each, meaningfully more than a typical single-race achievement. Prioritizing this list first is not just about pacing - it is also the fastest route to a large share of the total Gamerscore pool.
Realistic pacing
Master Explorer and Horizon Legend both track long-term Journal and wristband progress, so they are not something you can rush in a single session no matter how efficiently you play - budget for them across your normal playtime rather than treating either as a checklist item you can knock out in an afternoon. Played-List is the one achievement on this list with a hard external deadline: a season's Festival Playlist points reset when the season ends, so if you fall behind mid-season, the realistic move is to bank the points you can and target the next season fresh rather than trying to force a comeback in the final days.
Completion FAQ
How many achievements does Forza Horizon 6 have?
Forza Horizon 6 launched with 57 achievements worth a total of 1,000 Gamerscore. Full completion means unlocking all 57, not just reaching a percentage on the in-game Collection Journal.
What is the fastest achievement to unlock?
First Love (buy any car from the Autoshow) and Bargain Hunt (buy an aftermarket car) are typically the fastest, since both can be done in your first session with starting credits.
Do I need all 9 treasure cars for 100% completion?
Yes. The Treasure Hunter achievement requires finding and claiming all 9 treasure cars, not just one. A Fine Addition To My Collection unlocks separately after your first treasure car.
